Lyle Sclair was named the as the Executive Director of the Bayside Village BID in 2012.  Prior to joining the BID, Lyle was an Economic Development Associate with the Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation where he assisted four business improvement districts and local development corporations develop marketing strategies to attract new retail businesses.  He was also a Program Coordinator at Sustainable Long Island where he work with over a half a dozen communities create and implement downtown revitalization strategies.

When Lyle is not in the BID office you can find in on of the many restaurants trying to steal recipes from the many restaurants to attempt to make at home.  Lyle has a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from New York University’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.  He was also a member of New York Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs.
