First Photo is the Bayside Movies Theatre located at 39th Ave and Bell.  The photo was taken in 1929.  It was built by Thomas Lamb, a very famous theater architect.  It was originally the Capital Thearter.  By 2000 its operation came to an end.  It now houses retail stores.

The Second photo is the A&P and Charmet, located on Bell Blvd. between 41st & 42nd Ave.  A&P Grocery store was not there for very long.  It was followed by Kurtzberg's Stationery Store which was there for many years.  Charmet was a specialized womens clothing store, specializing in bridal fashion.  Charmet was in business at this address for over 50 years.  It has recently been replaced with a nail salon.

The third photo dates back to1920.  It shows a local garbage hauler, William Hayes.  The J. Willson Dayton Real Estate Office and two cigar stores are also featured.

Our last photo is of White Castle located at Northern and Bell Blvd.  It was built in 1932 and was fashioned after the Chicago Water Tower.  Although it has been expanded and remodeled, it is still at the same location.
